I have just been given the honor of Children's Ministry Chairperson which includes VBS and I can't wait to get started.  

I am NEW NEW NEW to VBS planning and hope to keep well ahead of panic.  

How long have you been involved in children's ministry?
This will be my first foray into Christian work with children, but I have been involved on a mentoring level in the past.

What's your favorite Bible verse?
You did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father" Romans 8:15

How can we pray for your VBS or children's ministry?
Our church is small and many members are retired. We need new families to bless us so that we may grow. Vacation Bible School always gives us a chance to draw new families through our love for their children.
